This is a group
exhibition by 11 practicing Artists from the East Lincolnshire
region, they include contemporary sculptors, painters, makers, glass
workers and ceramicists. Each of the artists listed below with
contact details are members of the Wolds and Coast cluster group of
artists from the Art on the Map, Open Studios, Lincolnshire.

About Art on the Map:
In 1999 artists and crafts makers of Lincolnshire combined to put
their studios and workshops 'on the map'. Art on the Map,
Lincolnshire Open Studios, provides opportunities for residents and
tourists in the county to see close-up the products of
Lincolnshire's many artists and crafts makers. It also gives
visitors the opportunity to meet the artists in their place of work
and to view how it all comes together. Members of Art on the Map
have included - painters, printmakers, wood & stone sculptors,
jewellers, furniture-makers, glass-artists, ceramicists,
metalworkers, mixed-media artists, textile artists as well as
calligraphers, illustrators, felt-makers, sound-artists and
violin-makers.

About the Mansion House
Project:
This Art on
the Map Mansion House exhibition forms part of a programme of
activities organised by the Louth Ants. and Nats. Society
(Antiquarian and Literary Society) as part of a
Feasibility Study funded by Arts Council England into developing
the Mansion House and No. 14 Upgate into an Arts
Centre. Plans include the display of contemporary and historical
art together with facilities for musical and literary
events, workshop studios for artists and craftspeople, a sales
outlet and gallery visitor facilities.
